Arg-e-Bam

Iran, Arg-e-Bam, the largest mud building in the world is listed by UNESCO
as a part of the World Heritage Site. It was built about 2,000 years ago. It is
the most attractive place in Iran.

Hi Maryam

Thi shows what people can do with limited resources--build with mud. What a great idea. What was the original purpose of this building? Was it a fort or a castle?

In Canada we only have one UNESCO site and that is Old Quebec City. It is quite beautiful as well. Only an 8 hour drive away.
